Johor Dancesport Association (JDSA) is a state member body of Malaysia Dancesport Federation (MYDF) that is the National Sports Association (NSA) governing all aspects of both Amateur and Professional DanceSport in Malaysia.

JDSA is established independently and registered with the Sports Commissioner of Malaysia on 4th August 2011 and officially endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Malaysia, Malaysia National Sports Council and Malaysia National Institute of Sports.

JDSA is a full member of MYDF which is supported by the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), Asian DanceSport Federation (ADSF) that are respective members of International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).

JDSA is formed to encourage and support DanceSport activities in close cooperation and consultation with the above International Federation (IF) and Asian Federation (AF) as stipulated by Malaysia Sports Development Act (1997) and will contribute and play its role in organizing activities that serve to advance the interests and development of DanceSport within Johor State, nationally and internationally.
